Top Warm Weather Getaways (And What Swimsuits to Pack)

Mood: GETAWAY VIBES. It’s that time of year—time to escape the winter cold and get to a warm weather destination, stat. We reviewed travel lists from the pros at Business Insider, Condé Nast Traveler and more and came up with our own list of must-visit bodies of water based on the most visited travel destinations in 2018. Check out what’s topping our list this year, and what swimsuits we’ll be packing for the trip.

Maya Bay, Ko Phi Phi, Thailand. By Humphrey Muleba.

Destination: Thailand

Must-visit body of water: Ko Phi Phi Le beach. Truth be told, the Phi Phi Islands between Phuket and the Straits of Malacca, are worth the hype. The island of Ko Phi Phi Le is universally-loved for its secluded beach that attracts tons of snorkelers and scuba divers every year.

Best swimsuit for the trip:

The colorblcok Swan Dive with adjustable straps and a chic front cutout. Perfect for snorkeling around the Phi Phi Islands.

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. By Ashim D'Silva.

Destination: Vietnam

Must-visit body of water: Hạ Long Bay. Located in Northeast Vietnam, this body of water is known for the towering limestone islands (topped by rainforests!) jetting out of the rich, emerald water. It’s got to be seen to be believed.

Best swimsuit for the trip:

The super comfortable Voyager Bikini Top and Ribbed Classic High Rise for kayaking along in Ha Long Bay.

Orlando, FL, By Drew Coffman.

Destination: Orlando, FL

Must-visit body of water: New Smyrna Beach. It might not be the most popular in the area (it’s got a bit of a reputation as the shark capital of the world so, common sense tip: don’t go splashing around the jetties), but hear us out. The less-populated long stretch of beaches, delicious cafés, and worth-mentioning art scene make it a must-see. It’s only an hour and half from Disney World, and well worth the day trip.

Best swimsuit for the trip:

The Sidestroke! Swimsuit or bodysuit—your choice. Pair it with shorts or a breezy maxi skirt in the Disney park, then go straight to the beach with ease.

Destination: Iceland

Must-visit body of water: The Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon’s official site calls it a “journey through a spa of the volcanic earth.” Need we say more? You’ve heard the hype about the world’s most famous geothermal spa, and our Co-Founder (who visited last year) can attest: it’s worth every (sorta pricey) penny.

Best swimsuit for the trip:

The Confetti Topsail Bikini Top & The High Leg High Rise. You get one chance to get that coveted Blue Lagoon waist-up selfie so make it count with our playful confetti trim. Add or remove the straps to switch up the look!

Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore. By Will Truettner.

Destination: Singapore

Must-visit body of water: The infinity pool at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The luxury hotel houses the world’s largest rooftop pool that overlooks Singapore’s breathtaking city skyline.

Best swimsuit for the trip:

The Plunge. Sleek, chic, and ideal for lounging poolside with your travel companion.
